Transcription

I(ohannes) Dei gratia etc salutem.  Sciatis nos concessisse et hac carta confirmasse dilecto et fideli nostro Huberto de Burgo camerario nostro totam terram Emme uxoris Gilberti de Northfolk unde idem Gilbertus et Emma constituerunt ipsum heredem ipsius Emme, habendam et tenendam cum omnibus libertatibus et liberis consuetudinibus.  Quare volumus et firmiter precipimus quod predictus Hubertus et heredes sui habeant et teneant predictam terram post predictum Gilbertum et Emmam bene et in pace, libere et quiete, integre, plenarie et honorifice in omnibus rebus et locis sicut carta predictorum Gilberti et Emme rationabiliter testantur.  Testibus W(illelmo) comite Arundell, comite Willelmo Marescallo, comite Dauid, Willelmo de Breosa, Galfrido de Say, Thoma Basset, Alano Basset, Bric(io) camerario, Ricardo de Riueriis.  Data per manum Hugonis de Welles apud Cenomannis, xvi. die Augusti anno regni quarto.
