Iohannes Dei gratia rex Anglie dominus Hibernie dux Normannie et Aquitannie comes Andegauie archiepiscopis, episcopis, abbatibus, comitibus, baronibus, iusticiis, vicecomitibus et omnibus balliuis et fidelibus suis salutem.  Sciatis nos concessisse et presenti carta confirmasse Deo et sancte Marie et monachis de Clyua de ordine Cisterciensi ibidem Deo seruientibus donationem quam eis fecit Willielmus de Roumara de sede abbatie sue de Clyua et de tota terra de Clyua cum omnibus pertinentiis suis, et donationem quam Hubertus de Burgo camerarius noster eis fecit de libero tenemento de Clyua cum pertinentiis suis, et de ecclesia de Kammel cum pertinentiis suis, et de seruicio et tenemento Ade de Wachedford cum pertinentiis suis et omnes alias donationes eis factas sicut carte donatorum rationabiliter testantur.  Quare volumus etc.  Dat’ per manum H(uberti) Cantuar’ archiepiscopi cancellarii nostri apud Loch’ xxviii. die Ianuarii, regni nostri anno tercio.

Notification that the king has granted to Cleeve Abbey the gift that William de Roumare gave them of the seat of the abbey of Cleeve, and the whole land of Cleeve, and the gift that Hubert de Burgh gave them from the free tenement of Cleeve, the church of East Camel, and the service and tenement of Adam of Watchet(?), and all other gifts in the charters of donors.
