Notification that the king has confirmed to the church of St Paul and William bishop of London all possessions of the church, with all thier liberties and free customs, sac and soc, tol and team and infangenethief, exemptions from all taxes levied on the hide or carucate, from aids to sheriffs, foresters, or other royal officials, from castleguard, castlework, and payment of wardpenny, from suit to the shire and hundred courts and payment of specified amercements and forefeitures, view of frankpledge being taken in the court of the bishop before a royal official, amercements arising therefrom going to the bishop, and exemption from jurisdiction of the foresters, and from customs levied on goods passing by land or sea in any part of his domains.
